Canyoning in Reunion… it's sport!
To participate in an outing: you must know how to swim and not be afraid of the water.
Supervised by a canyoning professional, the main difficulty of a canyon lies in its length, its duration. The type of effort required is comparable to that of a day's walk, with additional efforts on the upper body and a neoprene suit which weighs on the movements.
The jumps are always optional, unlike the abseils. If you are apprehensive about rope descents, know that there is always a solution, your instructor will be able to explain how it works, reassure you, and even accompany you during the descent if necessary. There is always a solution to overcome an obstacle despite your fears, your instructor will know how to implement it depending on the situation, he is trained for that.
Participants must be in good health, although canyoning is accessible to as many people as possible, it remains a sporting activity. You should not suffer from a serious health problem or from being overweight too much.
Any medical problem must be reported at the time of booking and to your instructor before departure.
