The Megavalanche de la Réunion is one of the most popular downhill marathons in the world!

This downhill mountain biking competition, with a drop of 2000 meters, starts from Piton Maido located at over 2000 meters above sea level and about 300 meters from the famous viewpoint on the circus of Mafate and the snow pit.

The race ends on the beaches of western Réunion in the town of Saint-Gilles between the famous Boucan-Canot beach and the hermitage beach.
